Mission and testimony
This blog is dedicated to reviewing Christian music, popular and unpopular, in the hopes of turning young Christians on to positive music.
Whether you're a Youth Pastor, a youth leader, a parent, a concerned adult or a youth student, I invite you to check out the blog and email me (to the right of this post) with any questions.
Let me tell you a little about myself. I was born into Christianity at a young age. I've been going to the same church all my life and I'm now a youth leader at that same church.
I was saved when I was about 7 and baptized soon afterward but it wasn't until my senior year in high school that I really started living for God. God has definitely called me to a position in full-time ministry, most likely Youth Pastor, but I can't be sure yet so I won't rule anything else out.
Anyway, take a look around and comment if you'd like.
I did not grow up in a Christian home. I accepted Jesus Christ while in prison. I am a vietnam veteran, and a recovering drug addict. Been married twice and divorced twice. I too have a ministry, I go into the prisons weekly sharing a message of hope through the surrendering of self to Christ. I also am in volved in several music ministries. I have played guitar for 48 years and have a college degree in music. I also play mandolin, bass, keyboards, and harmonica. I do the chapel at our local Christian school once a month. I also go to two differend nursing homes andminister with music and the Word of God.............
My question: what do you think of the Christian group Big Daddy Weave?
How about Mercy Me?
In christ.........toad

Hey Toad, thanks for visiting!
I like both from what I've heard, although I haven't heard much. They are definitely good Christian influences though.
I am also a musician (although not so much anymore). More than a year ago I played Mery Me's "I Can Only Imagine" on the piano during a youth run Sunday Morning service.
